EMPā„¢ 415 Electromagnetic Pump

The model 415 Electromagnetic Pump (EMPā„¢) has the highest output in the 4 inch range of pumps. The pump design has been further developed to optimise the efficiency of its operation in terms of flow rate and energy consumption. The model 415 pump is recommended where high mass flow or transfer heights are required.

The 415 EMP comprises a cylindrical electromagnetic coil, lined with a silicon nitride tube. The coil uses the induced electromagnetic currents to propel the molten aluminium from the furnace to the chargewell, the direction and speed of flow being controlled at the operator station.
