The Electromagnetic Pump (EMP™) main power panel houses the transformer, step contactors / thyristor drive and two panel bays dedicated to the capacitor banks for power factor correction.
This unit is supplied after having passed a fully integrated system test.
All site wiring associated to this panel is distributed through a series of male and female harting plugs, with the exception of the 9 cores (3 cores per phase) that supply the EMP pump.
This system of site wiring ensures minimum disruption to the panel terminations, minimises installation issues and commissioning time on site. The customer simply installs the required cables to a pre-selected specification and glands them to a set of free issue multi-pin plug tops.
