Electrical Insulating Components
Pyrotek can supply either laminated or random mat products in sheet, rod or tubing. TS grades are available with a variety of resins and reinforcements. TS laminates are fibrous material webs, impregnated with thermo setting resin, to give the required characteristics. Product bases are paper, cotton, glass or mica. Resins include phenolic, polyester, epoxy, silicone and polamide.
- TS low-temperature grades of insulating products to 127°C (260°F)
- TS medium-temperature grades of insulating products to 160°C (320°F)
- TS high-temperature grades of insulating products to 538°C (1000°F)

Pyrotek offers a number of electrical insulating products. An assortment of resins and reinforcements are used to create a wide range of laminated and random fibre/resin composites.
Pyrotek offers two main types of electrical insulation materials
- NAD-11 (USA) or NAD-500 (Europe) – cement/fiber/filled board, up to 500°C
- TS Grades of filament resin laminates, up to 220°C

- Superstructure (plates, bushes, support pads) NAD 11/NAD 500, TS450
- Walkways, shell supports (plates) TS125
- Shunt block & bus joints (plates, bolt tubing) TS106, TS111
- Busbar, supports & separators (plates, J-pieces) TS125, TS106
- Break & feed cylinders (plates, bushes) TS450, NAD11/NAD500
- Hoods, voltmeter mounts (plates, strips) TS450, TS180
- Cranes
- Hooding & Fume Extraction NAD 11/NAD 500 (full door strike pad), TS450 (hood edges ‘sandwich’ design), Z5C fabric (end door curtain, pot door seal)
- Bolt bushing, washers, pot cradle insulators, crust breaker insulators, exhaust duct insulators, machined parts, wedges, shunts and point feeder gaskets
